Thanks to the government shutdown, national parks like Yosemite are facing "a free-for-all" with overflowing garbage, human feces and illegal off-roading.

Unlike some previous shutdowns, the Trump administration chose to leave parks open to the public without rangers and staff who keep national parks up and running.

John Garder of the National Parks Conservation Association told The Associated Press, "It's really a nightmare scenario."
