An October 2017 cartoon by KQED's Mark Fiore reacted to news that the home of Jean Schulz and her late husband, 'Peanuts' cartoonist Charles M. Schulz, had been destroyed in North Bay fires.

Wildfire burned the home of Peanuts creator Charles Schulz. His widow Jean Schulz escaped before the flames burned the house to the ground.

The Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa, though in the evacuation zone, still stands and is undamaged.

Full disclosure: I have known Jean Schulz for years, she also contributed financially to a festival of cartooning I organized in 2014.
