More than a third of Americans nap on an average day, according to a new Pew Research Center study, and napping is more prevalent among the lowest and highest wage earners than those in the middle. Doctors say napping can boost alertness and productivity. Some workplaces even encourage napping on the job. We talk to doctors about the science and benefits of napping.
