Pregnant women who get prenatal care are less likely to have babies with low birth weight and other health problems, studies show. Even so, many expectant mothers fail to obtain such care, or get it too late. In a special live remote broadcast, Forum discusses the latest research on prenatal care, and issues surrounding access to it.

Guests:

Dr. Alina Salganicoff, vice president and director of Women's Healthy Policy at the Kaiser Family Foundation, a leading national research group on health policy (not affiliated with Kaiser Permanente)
