Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the White House this week, his first meeting with President Obama in more than a year. The two leaders have had a strained relationship, differing over the Iran nuclear deal, Israeli settlement expansion, and other issues. In this hour we discuss Netanyahu’s visit – and the history of U.S.-Israel relations – with Ambassador Dennis Ross, who has advised five presidents on the Middle East.

Guests:

Ambassador Dennis Ross, counselor at The Washington Institute for Near East Policy & author of "Doomed To Succeed: The U.S.-Israeli Relationship from Truman to Obama"
