Zoë Quinn was trying to establish herself as a video game developer when she unwillingly became famous as the face of the Gamergate controversy in 2014. An ex-boyfriend published a blog post with false accusations that led Quinn and other feminists in the video game industry to be subjected to a two-year online harassment campaign. Quinn joins us in studio to talk about the personal impact of Gamergate, how she fought back and the book she wrote about her experience, “Crash Override.”

Guests:

Zoë Quinn, author, “Crash Override: How Gamergate (Nearly) Destroyed My Life, and How We Can Win the Fight Against Online Hate.”
