Since we were feeling the warm weather vibes, our first stop had to be barbecue. Martin guided us towards a little BBQ spot on Stockton Street called Gourmet Delight.\u003c/p>\n\u003cp>Gourmet Delight isn’t a “sit-down and enjoy” barbecue restaurant. Instead meat-enthusiasts who are in the know pull up to a take-out counter and are treated to plastic containers piled high with succulent roast duck, barbecue pork, fried chicken and other carnivorous and neighborhood specialties. It’s hard for us to pick a favorite, but the roast duck felt like home, conjuring sweet memories of Sunday night family dinners from long ago.\u003c/p>\n\u003cp>Traversing Chinatown with the one-and-only Martin Yan was just as fun and enlightening as you might expect – a surreal pleasure after having watched him on television for so many years.
