We asked you to create political art based on these nine key election issues, and you rose to the challenge! Check out our video recap  above featuring some of our favorite submissions.

All of this political creativity was inspired by the video “Make Your Own Political Art in 5 Easy Steps” from KQED’s Art School, that featured examples of successful projects from high profile artists Banksy, Corita Kent, Emory Douglas, Ai Wei Wei, Shepard Fairey and Barbara Kruger.

Did you miss the submission deadline? You can still create posters and post them on Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #MediaMakePoliticalArt and #2NextPrez. Remember to tag @KQEDedspace. Stay tuned for the national call for multimedia letters to the future president which will launch in late July 2016.
