The Camp Fire in Northern California is 100 percent contained, but it’ll take months—and possibly years—for the tens of thousands of people who lost their homes to get back on their feet.

Luckily, Oakland legend Too $hort is here to help. The “Blow the Whistle” rapper headlines a just-announced benefit concert at the San Francisco nightclub 1015 Folsom on Dec. 21. Proceeds from the show go to the North Valley Community Foundation’s Camp Fire Evacuation Relief Fund, which provides vital services like portable toilets and showers, blankets and more to fire victims at local evacuation centers. Once it meets the immediate needs of the displaced, the foundation will use remaining funds to support Butte County’s longterm recovery efforts.

Along with Too $hort, Oakland DJ Aux Cord and his crew, Another Party Fam, are on the bill, plus COLDSOGGYFRIES and more to be announced. Expect a night of uptempo, funky Bay Area rap for a good cause. Details here.
