'Deferred Action' Program Offers Hope For Some Young Immigrants
Beginning on Wednesday, an estimated 1.2 million undocumented immigrants who came to the United States as children will be able to apply to live and work in the U.S. legally for at least the next two years. About 440,000 young people who live in California could benefit under the program that President Obama announced in June.
