A landmark phone survey of foster kids in Los Angeles finds nearly 1 in 5 identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or questioning their sexuality. The study was released Wednesday by UCLA's Williams Institute, which also finds these 12-21-year-olds are twice as likely to report being treated poorly than straight foster kids.
