The City of Berkeley gained widespread attention in last month's election when voters there passed the nation’s first soda tax. Other U.S. cities have tried and failed to regulate sodas and other sugary drinks as a way to combat obesity and related health problems. But there is one country that's been taxing sugary drinks for almost a year now. The initiative in Mexico appears to be producing some results.
