#LifeinBoomtown: Take a Picture of Change

What does change look like in your life? Snap a photo of it and tag it #lifeinboomtown.

KQED wants your help capturing what this latest economic boom looks like. A few weeks ago, we asked you to show us your #selfies and introduce yourself. For our second Instagram challenge, we're asking you to take a picture of something in your neighborhood that has changed.

Whether it's a slew of new stores, a more crowded BART platform or perhaps a pricetag that gives you sticker shock -- what does change look like in your life? Snap a photo of it, post it to Instagram or Twitter, and tag it #lifeinboomtown.

To get us started, @Katayon submitted this photo of construction at the corner of Fremont and Folsom streets in San Francisco, which she labeled, "#ugly."

And here's a picture of construction in downtown Redwood City from @JennDen74. She commented: "How many cranes can you count? Downtown Redwood City is about to change again."

What does change look like in your neighborhood or around your workplace? And feel free to add a line or two about whether you welcome the change or wish it wasn't happening. After all, one person's boom is another person's rising rent. #lifeinboomtown
