Recipe: SRO Flip cocktail

Makes one cocktail

    Ingredients:
  • 2 ounce white rum
  • ½ ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • ¼ ounce St Elizabeth Allspice Dram (also known as Pimento Dram) liquor
  • ¾ ounce freshly brewed African nectar tea
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1 leaf of white sage
    Instructions:
  1. Combine the rum, lemon juice, Allspice Dram, tea and whole egg with ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake and strain into another cocktail shaker without any ice and shake.
  2. Set the sage leaf on a fireproof surface and light with a match or torch. Invert a glass over the sage to catch all of the essential oils from the smoke.
  3. Strain the Flip into the smoke filled glass. Serve immediately.
