Jacques Pépin uses the breast meat from a roasted Cornish hen to make his chicken and vegetables in cream sauce recipe. It’s like a chicken pot pie, spare the crust. Although this is not exactly a low calorie dish, it’s less rich than you might suspect. Serve with rice.

What you’ll need: roasted chicken, carrot, onion, peas, mushrooms, salt, pepper, potato starch, cream, chives, parsley.
