Join acclaimed filmmaker Ken Burns for an in-depth look at The American Revolution, his new six-part documentary about America’s fight for independence.
This sweeping series explores how thirteen British colonies challenged a global empire. Through stunning visuals and expert insights, The American Revolution captures the passion, sacrifice and vision that forever changed the course of history and examines how ideals forged on the battlefield ignited movements for freedom across the globe.
This screening will present a sneak peek at selections from the series, followed by a conversation with Burns and his co-director Sarah Botstein and historian Christopher L. Brown, moderated by The Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg.
