KQED partners with education agencies, organizations with educator networks, and public media stations to provide educators around the Bay Area and across the country with classroom resources and professional development opportunities to make media literacy learning relevant to students.
Types of Partnerships
- Educator Professional Development: KQED partners with educator professional development networks and education agencies to support educator use of KQED Youth Media Challenge and professional development opportunities.
- Distribution: KQED partners with public media stations and other organizations to distribute student-produced media published to the KQED Youth Media Challenge.
KQED Professional Development Services
KQED is proud to partner with schools, districts and county offices of education to provide a safe space for educators to increase media literacy skills and competencies and collaborate with other professionals to create a set of best practices for integrating media literacy skills and practices into classrooms. Through school and district implementation, KQED professional development supports are customized and curated to meet school district goals and objectives.
