We made it to the very last last episode of Season 3. How far we've come! Why, when we started Little Sybbie was just another nameless fetus living in Ireland and Big Sybbie was, well, alive. Hey, no peeking!\u003c/p>\n\u003cp>We begin without the dog's butt which can only mean one thing: DISASTER. A year has passed. So I guess we have to feel less sad about Dead Sybbie and more happy about Cute Sybbie?\u003c/p>\n\u003cp>Apparently the family is organizing to go on a fly fishing trip. Everyone, including the staff, looks very sad about this. Is this because they have all become vegans in the last year and they ethically don't eat fish anymore?\u003c/p>\n\u003cp>Sad Panda Molesley (which I've been misspelling all season by the way, but he's such a Sad Panda NO ONE EVEN NOTICED OR CARED) says something sad and stupid. We made it to the very last last episode of Season 3. How far we've come! Why, when we started Little Sybbie was just another nameless fetus living in Ireland and Big Sybbie was, well, alive. Remember, as always,\u003cstrong>SPOILER ALERT\u003c/strong>. And also, as always, stay tuned for the Character Ranking at the end of the recap. WHO WON SEASON 3? Hey, no peeking!\u003c/p>\n\u003cp>We begin without the dog's butt which can only mean one thing: DISASTER. A year has passed. So I guess we have to feel less sad about Dead Sybbie and more happy about Cute Sybbie?\u003c/p>\n\u003cp>Apparently the family is organizing to go on a fly fishing trip. Everyone, including the staff, looks very sad about this. Is this because they have all become vegans in the last year and they ethically don't eat fish anymore?\u003c/p>\n\u003cp>Sad Panda Molesley (which I've been misspelling all season by the way, but he's such a Sad Panda NO ONE EVEN NOTICED OR CARED) says something sad and stupid. The Molesley character is basically exactly \u003ca href=\"http://30rock.wikia.com/wiki/Lutz\">Lutz from 30 Rock\u003c/a> (RIP), right?\u003c/p>\n\u003cp>It is the future from last episode so Thomas and Jimmy the Traitor are working together but Jimmy uses his serious face the whole time because he is scared of gays and even though Carson and Robert are total allies, I guess they forgot to do an awareness seminar during New Staff Orientation this year.\u003c/p>\n\u003cp>\u003c/p>\u003c/div>",

If this was Mary, she would have cut all her hair off and then thrown herself on some train tracks, but not Edith. This girl knows what defeat feels like and it feels like home. Who better to explain that feeling than the saddest singer ever, Karen Carpenter? They eventually get around to tongue wrestling, which leads to taking off into the night, family feuds, wedding bells and getting knocked up. Throughout this whole process, her father huffs and puffs, threatens to disown her, and is generally a snob and a half. Good-natured Sybil pleads for some understanding and acceptance without much luck. She also likes a disfigured burn victim who claims to be the dead Titanic cousin! She reads to him and he throws temper tantrums and breaks stuff for attention, which leads to hints of romance. But, like everything in Edith's life, things don't work out and he runs away. Who better to explain that feeling than the saddest singer ever, Karen Carpenter? Good-natured Sybil pleads for some understanding and acceptance without much luck. On to Downton.\u003cbr>\n \u003cbr>\nWe begin with the most hotly anticipated ending of the season! Bates is finally out of \u003cem>Downton Oz\u003c/em>! His limp is back and his true love is waiting for him! Will she ever know the limp is just for effect and he uses violence to get what he wants? I think that Sherlock Anna knows and she doesn't care one bit! That's what true love means!\u003cbr>\n \u003cbr>\nDownstairs, the footmen are in a dithery tither! What will happen to Thomas' career now that Bates is back??\u003cbr>\n \u003cbr>\nUpstairs, angry old man Robert is angry again. Luckily his truest, dearest friend is home and he has that dog sidekick. Maybe things are looking up?\u003cbr>\n \u003cbr>\nIt's raining at Downton. Last time this happened Sybil and Branson had to escape by boat separately from Ireland. What does it mean this time? Maybe a different sort of disaster is coming. This one will be prostitute-based as it appears Lady Violet isn't as friendly to the ladies of the night as she once was. Of all the forms of communication that happen at Downton, mail is by far the most dramatic so this is a promising start. Even though, as we soon realize, in this case the drama is being caused by our favorite blonde detective, Anna, NOT getting mail.\u003c/p>\n\u003cp>Over in \u003ci>Downton Oz\u003c/i> there is also a conspicuous lack of mail. Since Anna and Bates are true loves, and will remain so even if it is revealed that he is a wife murderer, it is clear that something tricky is afoot. Personally, I'm not worried. I've said it before but Bates just looks like he'd be a big deal in prison.\u003c/p>\n\u003cp>The sending and/or not sending of important letters continues with Mrs. Crawley, the savior of all downtrodden street walkers. Her mail situation is complicated: she has a letter she did not write, which she must give to someone else so they can send it to someone ELSE. My understanding of the British postal system is clearly incomplete; is it like Facebook where you can only send messages to people you know? With all the weddings out of the way, hopefully, it looks like we can get deep into old school Downton intrigue! Are you ready? Then join me, why don't you?\u003c/p>\n\u003cp>This episode starts off with mail. Of all the forms of communication that happen at Downton, mail is by far the most dramatic so this is a promising start. Even though, as we soon realize, in this case the drama is being caused by our favorite blonde detective, Anna, NOT getting mail.\u003c/p>\n\u003cp>Over in \u003ci>Downton Oz\u003c/i> there is also a conspicuous lack of mail. Since Anna and Bates are true loves, and will remain so even if it is revealed that he is a wife murderer, it is clear that something tricky is afoot. Personally, I'm not worried. I've said it before but Bates just looks like he'd be a big deal in prison.\u003c/p>\n\u003cp>The sending and/or not sending of important letters continues with Mrs. Crawley, the savior of all downtrodden street walkers. Her mail situation is complicated: she has a letter she did not write, which she must give to someone else so they can send it to someone ELSE. My understanding of the British postal system is clearly incomplete; is it like Facebook where you can only send messages to people you know? I personally think this worked out well, as I was able to watch the trials and tribulations of the Crawleys with an eye to the Siegals, but it may have made me even extra jaded about the super-rich. Both families are insanely wealthy, living in castles with ungrateful children and dogs, employing hordes of people and on the verge of losing everything. WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT? Will the Crawleys, in a strange twist, move to Florida and start a timeshare business? Only time will tell...on to Episode 2.\u003c/p>\n\u003cp>This episode starts with the classic early-morning-getting-things-ready montage. Even though on one level I know this means those poor servants were up before dawn punching pillows and starting fires, this is the \u003ci>Downton\u003c/i> I love. And what are the eager little helpers setting up for on this particular day? A wedding of course! Two weddings in only two episodes! Did they secretly change the working title to \u003ci>Downton Abbey: Say Yes to the Dress\u003c/i>? I don't care at all because here is Edith! Oh Edith. Everyone is rolling their eyes at her (what a hateful family you have, little Edith!) but I'm excited for her. There seems to be a new sort of will-they-won't-they tension and that is: will Sybil and Branson bring their underclass selves to Mary's magical wedding day? Can I suggest they do not come?
