The Speaker tells the story of Nancy Pelosi’s rise from local volunteer to national power broker, and the first woman to serve as Speaker of the House. Exclusive interviews with Pelosi herself, perspectives from other prominent figures, and vivid snapshots of key historical moments trace Pelosi’s rise in American politics — as the country changes around her. Unfolding through gripping, engaging narrative, the series illuminates her role in the American political landscape of the last four decades, where the country has been, and where it’s going.
