Emiliano Villa is a multimedia journalist seeped in Oakland culture. Through their training at YR Media, they discovered their love for journalism and realized the power of youth media in addressing inequity. This passion led them to join YR's newsroom, reporting on politics, arts, and queer culture through a youth perspective. Their work has been featured on NPR, SF Chronicle, and the NY Times. When they aren't creating, Emiliano enjoys nature and dancing their heart out to pop music.
