People like you are helping to solve environmental and climate problems across our state.

This summer, KQED’s Climate Book Club is reading about how that’s happening, from keeping forests green with good fire to protecting California abalone.

The book Climate Stewardship: Taking Collective Action to Protect California by Adina Merenlender with Brendan Buhler is a collaboration with the UC California Naturalist Program.

We’re starting to read this week, aiming to be finished by July 17 for an in-person event with the author at KQED headquarters.

If you’re interested in contributing to a conversation about the book between now and then, join us on KQED’s Discord community in the #book-club channel.
