Remember back in February, when TMZ got us all in a tizzy over the Spice Girls embarking on a world tour, producing a television show in China (still scratching my head over that one) and releasing a greatest hits collection? Well, in case you haven't been paying attention, NONE OF THAT HAPPENED.

Every time my friends text me about yet another story of a potential tour, I ignore it. Message me when the girls officially announce something.

That time has come.

If you're too busy / lazy to watch the video, here's the gist:

  • Emma (Baby Spice) has pink hair now.
  • There is still sexual tension between Mel B (Scary Spice) and Geri (Ginger Spice).
  • Mel C (Sporty Spice) still loves an Adidas tracksuit.
  • Oh, and they're going on tour! Officially!

Now comes the catch.

It's only six dates in the U.K.

And Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) will not be zig-a-zig-ahh-ing along with her bandmates.

Maybe she'll change her mind at the last minute?

Or not, judging by Victoria's official statement: "Being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish my girls so much love and fun as they go back on tour, I know they will put on an amazing show and the fantastic fans past and present are going to have a wonderful time!"

So there you have it. (Most of) The Spice Girls are reuniting for a (very small, very local) tour.

Beggars can't be choosers, so I guess we're all going to England this June? Until then, gaze at this new promo photo and have an existential crisis over the fact that we've been in love with these girls for 22 years.
