In Sacramento, several protests over the fatal police shooting of Stephon Clark continued over the weekend. Hundreds of people, including Clark's family, rallied in the capital city. They called for police reform and that charges be filed against the two police officers who shot Clark.

Investigators continue to search for three children along a remote stretch of the California coast. The search comes after an SUV belonging to the kids’ family plunged off a steep cliff one week ago near Mendocino. Investigators now believe the deadly crash may have been intentional.

A few weeks ago, Santos Hilario Garcia and his wife Marcelina were on the road looking for field work in the Bakersfield area. When a vehicle came up from behind and flashed its lights, Santos pulled over. But when immigration agents appeared, he sped off. The couple was in the U.S. without papers. Minutes later the SUV flipped and smashed into a pole. The couple was killed. Mourners are gathering later today at a church in the town of Delano.
