'Jungle of Stone' Traces the Discovery of Mayan Civilization

In “Jungle of Stone,” journalist William Carlsen recounts the story of John Lloyd Stephens and Frederick Catherwood whose perilous trek through the jungles of Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico led to the discovery of ancient Mayan civilization.
