The popular Bay Area tasting festival features more than 60 eateries and wineries.
San Francisco, CA — KQED’s popular Check, Please! Bay Area Taste & Sip food and wine tasting will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2017, from 6:30 to 9pm at the San Francisco Design Center Galleria. Sample mouthwatering bites from nearly 50 Check, Please! Bay Area–reviewed restaurants; sip wines from around the world; and enjoy specialty cocktails while listening to live gypsy jazz by Gaucho, courtesy of SFJAZZ. Guests can meet Check, Please! Bay Area host Leslie Sbrocco, the show’s production team and reviewers from past seasons.
“Taste & Sip is my favorite event of the year,” said Sbrocco. “Not only are there world-class wines and spirits to sip, top-notch local eateries also show up to show off their best bites. It’s also my chance to meet and mingle with the fans of the show; making them a part of the Check, Please! family is the goal of the event for me.”
