Watch SNL's Sasheer Zamata Make White Male Privilege Funny

Yeah, I get it: You're sick of hearing the word privilege. You're not racist or sexist, so you shouldn't have to hear about racism and sexism all the time, right?

Sorry, but the game is still rigged against women and people of color -- and that's not going to change if we refuse to acknowledge it, or treat privilege like just another meaningless buzzword. That's the message at the heart of this very funny video from the ACLU and Saturday Night Live's Sasheer Zamata, who pulls off something tricky here: illustrating the obliviousness that's a hallmark of well-meaning people who are simply not affected by prejudice -- while actually making us laugh.

Check it out below -- my favorite part might be when the dude announces that he's a feminist and the mayor materializes out of nowhere to present him with a key to the city. Also worth noting, to the point about equal opportunities in the workplace: When Zamata joined SNL in 2014, she was the first black female cast member since Maya Rudolph's departure seven years earlier.
