Taylor Swift's latest album 1989 has only been out for three months and has already outsold her previous album, Red, which has been out for over two years. As insane as that is, it's not exactly surprising. Think of the impact of "Shake It Off." Your mom knows all the words. You know all the words. These frat boys know all the words. Same goes for second single "Blank Space" (the music video has already been seen half a BILLION times!). And before it was even announced as the third single, "Style" was playing on the radio on any station that wasn't already playing one of the first two. So Swift fans have been eagerly awaiting a music video for some time. And now we finally have it!
If you were expecting another tongue-in-cheek clip, you won't find it here. Instead, you're in for a hyper-stylized Tumblr-esque look into what went on between Tay and Harry Styles of One Direction (the airplane necklace he gave her makes a cameo). Many fans, this one included, feel as though the moody Lana Del Rey aesthetic would have made more sense with probable future single "Wildest Dreams", but it's so pretty that it doesn't actually matter.
