Many of us have spent the past few days saying a little prayer for Aretha Franklin. Despite a reassuring report that she was "alert" and laughing with family just yesterday, the Queen of Soul has passed away at the age of 76. But her legacy of redefining music and raising the bar over and over again since her 1956 debut remains. Because stars are just like us, the likes of Obama and Oprah are also spending the day blasting Aretha's music and meditating on her impact.
