The days of Democratic agenda-setting are dwindling to a precious few, but yesterday Nancy Pelosi and team were decidedly in the House, muscling through a repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell. Now — as usual — it’s up to the crazy-rules Senate, where Sen. Joe Lieberman says he has the 60 votes necessary for passage.

Here’s Pelosi’s remarks after the vote, which include Pelosi reading from a sign of a supporter, “You don’t have to be straight to shoot straight.”
