Last month, Carnival Cruise Lines announced it's pulling its last ship in San Diego out, and with it, tens of millions of dollars a year. The Port of Los Angeles just lost its only year-round cruise ship, and when the "Norwegian Star" departs in May, L.A. waves goodbye to nearly half its cruise business.
