The California Public Employees' Retirement System, the largest public pension fund in the country, is taking on Apple over its board of directors. As it stands now, Apple's directors can keep their seats with a single "yes" vote from shareholders. Calpers wants Apple -- and other US firms -- to require a majority vote.
