Governor Jerry Brown has been holding town halls across the state, trying to sell his budget plan -- mostly to people in the districts of Republican lawmakers who've been resisting his efforts to put it on the ballot. None of those legislators have taken the governor up on his invitation to attend an event, until yesterday.
