Participation Declines in Immigrants' Rights Marches
This weekend, people across California will take to the streets to support immigrant rights. It's become a May Day tradition over the last five years, but the event is shrinking in size.
California's Academic Decathlon Team
Today is make-it-or-break-it day for more than 300 high schoolers competing to win this year's U.S. Academic Decathlon in Charlotte, North Carolina. The California team is from Granada Hills Charter High in the San Fernando Valley. The teams will demonstrate their knowledge of the Great Depression in history, literature, economics, art and other subjects.
