Employee Pension Info May Go Public
A recent court ruling looks likely to force 20 of California's biggest counties to disclose the names and retirement benefits of tens of thousands of public employees. A number of newspapers have sued to get access to that data -- and numerous local officials see the order by the Third District Court of Appeal as a sign this fight is over.
