Last week Governor Jerry Brown signed the FAIR Act, which requires the state to include the contributions of gay and lesbian people in history textbooks. Although the state's budget woes mean few schools will be buying new books any time soon, the new law has educators pondering how to incorporate LGBT history into the curriculum.
