Somewhere just south of the Canadian border, a young man from Berkeley is setting out on an extraordinary odyssey. Sam Fox is running the entire length of the Pacific Crest Trail, from Canada to Mexico, with a goal of breaking the current speed record of 65 days. But Fox's long distance challenge is about much more than breaking a record.
