Veterans Day is a time we often hear stories of bravery on the battlefield, or the challenges that returning veterans face. But this is a different kind of story, about another type of military service: It's a project where veterans help scientists. The goal is to learn more about cancer and other diseases or conditions like post-traumatic stress disorder.
