"Occupy" Demonstrators Focus On State's Ports
Protesters from the Occupy Wall Street movement are taking their case to ports up and down the West Coast this morning, from Anchorage, Alaska south to San Diego. The port complex at LA/Long Beach is the biggest target, pulling in roughly 40 percent of the nation's trade. It's too big for demonstrators to shut down, so they're staging a picket line in front of one terminal.

California Delegation Split Over New Child Farm Labor Rules
The federal government is proposing new child labor rules for kids working on farms, the first time it's done so in three decades. The regulations would limit exposure to pesticides and ban tractor driving and branding cattle for kids under 16. Some lawmakers who represent farming districts are protesting.
