San Joaquin Valley Air Quality Lawsuit
The soupy fog blanketing the San Joaquin Valley this time of year is making it harder to breathe. Fine particles of soot and dust can hang in the moist winter air, and burrow deep into people's lungs. Air quality activists have filed a federal lawsuit saying plans to clean up that pollution don't do enough to protect public health.
