The week in photos around the Bay Area:
The “Special Delivery” street art show organized by Endless Canvas in a vacant west Berkeley warehouse on September 8th was attended by about 5,000 people and left in its wake some unwelcome tagging in the neighborhood. However, the graffiti was quickly cleaned up by the Endless Canvas organizers and the show will open again on September 23rd. (Dyanna Anfang/Berkeleyside)
A few dozen protesters gathered at San Francisco’s War Memorial on September 17th to protest unlawful foreclosures. On the anniversary of the Occupy Wall Street movement the focus was on several military veterans facing foreclosure and hoping for loan modifications. (Aarti Shahani/KQED)
