On Monday, about 100 athletes will begin what might be the most grueling athletic event in the world: the Badwater Ultramarathon. It's a 135-mile footrace that starts below sea level in Death Valley and ends half-way up Mt. Whitney. Runners battle temperatures averaging 125 degrees, dehydration, exhaustion and even hallucinations -- and this year marks 70-year-old Arthur Webb's 15th in a row.
