Although AIDS is no longer in the headlines on a daily basis, about 50,000 new HIV infections continue to happen every year in the United States. Daniel Tietz is head of the AIDS Community Research Initiative of America. He says foundation and individual donors aren't giving as much to fight the epidemic as they used to.
