Still a Long Wait for Veterans Seeking Help With War's After Effects
The number of veterans waiting for word on their disability claims from VA offices in Oakland, Los Angeles and San Diego has dropped by more than 8,000 over the past six months. But more than 80,000 vets are still waiting, often for more than a year.
