Willits Tree Sitter Hopes to Stop Highway 101 Plan
A tree-sitter is six weeks into a protest outside the town of Willits in Mendocino County. Amanda Senseman, who goes by the name "Warbler," is hoping to stop construction on a large highway bypass project on U.S. 101, the main route from the San Francisco Bay Area to Northern California's redwood country and beyond.
