California Adds Powerball to Its Lottery Menu
Powerball tickets go on sale in California for the first time Monday. California Lottery spokesperson Alex Traverso points out Powerball features a bigger initial pot, $40 million, and grows much faster than California's two familiar lottery games -- Super Lotto Plus and Mega Millions.
