And providers across the state are scrambling to make sure people living with chronic health conditions don't have disruptions to their care during the changeover. Some doctors are particularly worried about one community -- people living with HIV. That's because unlike asthma or cancer, HIV is contagious, and a break in care for those infected could have public health consequences.
