But with less than 10 days to go before legislators have to approve a spending plan, leaders haven't resolved any of their major disagreements. Senators and assemblymembers are working their way through line item after line item, bridging the difference between their two spending plans.
California Adopts Plan To Prevent Child Sex Trafficking
The state is moving forward with a comprehensive plan to prevent sex trafficking of children in the Child Welfare System. The California Child Welfare Council unanimously adopted a proposal this week to protect minors from sexual exploitation.
