Grammy-winning keyboardist and producer George Duke died earlier this week in Los Angeles at the age of 67. He had a long list of collaborators, ranging from Frank Zappa to Michael Jackson to Miles Davis and Cannonball Adderly. But he also released 30 albums of his own. Jazz critic Andrew Gilbert has an appreciation.
