Some good news this Veterans Day -- the number of veterans facing long waits for compensation for conditions as serious as post traumatic stress disorder and brain injury has plunged in recent months. The progress came after The Center for Investigative Reporting revealed that 250,000 veterans had been waiting more than a year for their benefits.
