Pfeiffer Fire Pushes Residents Out of Homes Near Big Sur
The Pfeiffer Fire burning near Big Sur has now consumed some 770 acres and destroyed at least 22 structures. Dry conditions are making it tough for more than 800 firefighters who've converged on the Central Coast to put the fire out. Firefighters expect to have the Pfeiffer Fire fully contained by Friday.
